This wavy hair sticks hand carved from English Plum. The stick have been sealed and polished to a silky smooth finish with Creamed Beeswax. As plum trees are relatively small compared to other trees their size is not substantial enough to warrant commercial lumber production. This tight-grained and colourful wood is most commonly used by craftsmen for ornamental objects, particularly turnings.
The timber used comes from reputable timber merchants or are off-cuts from various sources.
