These are vintage metal Babyliss clips. They are brushed metal with a silver grey appearance, a very strong spring and are approximately 4.75" long.
I've got a couple of these clips that I've been using myself since the 1990s and they still look great. From time to time I have searched for them on the off chance that there might be some out there still I was thrilled to recently find someone selling a batch of them as left over stock from a shop that closed many years ago and I just had to buy them.
