This gorgeous 2 prong hair fork has been handcrafted in the UK from a piece of Ivy wood. Natural un-dyed timber which has been finished with natural oils and waxes.
The unique colouration and patterns of spalted wood are sought after by woodworkers. Spalting is defined as containing blackish irregular lines as a result of stress to the wood and is sometimes used to produce a decorative surface. This has resulted in an unusual and beautifully marked ivy hair fork.
The timber used comes from reputable timber merchants or are off-cuts from various sources.
